From the results of research by the author (1995, 1997, 1999, 2002) shows that the bulk of math teachers still implements traditional mathematical learning, is learning mathematics by relying on a single method expository with the cycle: explaining, giving examples, asking questions and giving the task in the classical style . With this method then the math teachers have difficulty in: 1) serve various needs / demands of the students in learning mathematics, 2) encourage underachieving students to improve academic achievement, 3) encourage students to learn actively, 4) use and develop mathematical and props 5) encourage students to learn through collaboration. Development of mathematical models of learning through action research to overcome the difficulties of service of teachers to give students a positive impact, but in actual experience obstacles both technical, academic, and socio-cultural.
1.      Nature of business teachers meet the academic demands of a wide range of students, encourage students to improve achievement of low achievers, encourages students to learn actively, and encourage students to learn through collaboration, can be done by: Developing Student Worksheet (BLM), form a study group, developed a method of discussion class / group, develop visual aids and media education,
2.      In the effort to develop a model of learning can be concluded
a.       Teachers are still experiencing difficulty in meeting the various demands of the student's academic.

f.       In general, teachers have sought to develop a learning method in accordance with the purpose of action research; but teachers experiencing technical difficulties, academic and fundamental.

Research is an activity to gain knowledge called science, carried out with certain procedures that are systematic and supported by a methodology which is an assessment of the rules in his method. As a teacher or math teacher candidates are required to always perform innovative discussion on how we gain knowledge about the learning of mathematics in accordance with the latest trends. Our knowledge of the desired aspects of learning mathematics as a knowledge of a scientific nature that is an understanding of the workings of the mind of individual students in learning mathematics, how to gain an understanding of the architectural aspects of learning and how teachers understand the analogies between the student's knowledge, teacher knowledge and knowledge practitioners about learning mathematics. If we want teachers of mathematics education reform mathematics education research it will become a necessity. Apart from the formal legal aspects of mathematics education research activities either by teachers, lecturers as well as by prospective teachers will be members many benefits. With the study of mathematics education we can know of any individual or group differences in learning mathematics, we can determine the position of students in a group, can compare learning outcomes between groups. We also can do a match between goals and results of learning outcomes. Research results can be used for refining the program, counseling, provision of information to the public. Besides that we also can do a comparison between the performance and criteria for each dimension of the program and refining the program and the inference results of mathematics education as a whole. Then we can conduct studies on the implementation of the program, the environmental impact study, the influence of the program, curriculum or syllabus of learning outcomes, and ultimately used for the improvement of mathematics education program as a whole.
